Thanks to the donation of a generous collector, Tim Davenport, my original painting Departure was be part of the 27th Annual Art for AIDS, San Francisco's exclusive art event benefitting the UCSF Alliance Health Project. This is a very personal painting from my Promiseland series that reflects on my early days and the sense of wonder and adventure I felt as I emarked on my journey.
