I am getting a new studio in January, and I'm so excited! The co-op I joined when we moved to Monterey, Open Ground Studios, is converting some of the rooms in the building to individual artist studios. I've enjoyed working in their shared space with other members this past year, but I often find myself painting at home in the garage simply because of the amount of set-up and clean-up involved with the work I do. Having a space of my own again will be so wonderful because I can work around lots of awesome artists on a more regular basis. Right now the room's getting cleared out and cleaned up. Can't wait to settle in and start adding some color to these walls!
