Denese Sanders, Susie Berteaux, Deb Burke and I took a road trip to the Bay area for three incredible art exhibits. First we visited the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art for an eye-opening exhibit by Chris Eckert called Privacy Not Included. Then we made our way to Richmond for the Points of Departure printmaking exhibit at Bridge Storage and ARTSpace sponsored by the California Society of Printmakers, which included a piece by Denese Sanders. And finally we ended up in Oakland for a fabulous exhibit called Home by our fellow studio-mate Terese Garcia. Such a fun day with great friends and awesome art!
