Siempre Soledad Mural: Celebrating Community and Hope Through Art

Our mural “Siempre Soledad” aims to celebrate the rich heritage of families living in Soledad by visually narrating the journey of different generations. Watch the process video above.

On the left side of the mural, depicted from the back, are two figures representing the ancestors of the family, looking ahead into the future. Their posture reflects strength, unity, and hope. The rocky landscape of the Pinnacles National Park serves as the backdrop, symbolizing the challenges they have faced and overcome, as well as the natural beauty of their new home. On the right, the faces of two children are featured prominently in the foreground. They represent the new generation's potential and ambitions, superimposed in front of the outstretched wings of a California condor, signifying that the future of these children is limitless.
