Earlier this month, a fire destroyed the art studio in Zanesville, Ohio where hundreds of my mentor Linda Regula’s paintings were stored. Many special people in her artist community had studios there as well and lost everything. We’d been making plans to photograph and catalogue all of her paintings - she had so many pieces that weren’t documented. I just can’t believe they’re all gone now. I know Linda's first priority would be to support the 60+ artists who also lost everything in this horrific incident.
